Data Deletion
RinkPulse Companion is local-first. If you choose to sign in for cloud saves, your synced RinkPulse session history is connected to that RinkPulse app account. You can delete that data from inside the Android app or by contacting support.
Delete in the Android app
- Open RinkPulse Companion on Android.
- Go to Profile, then Data & Sync.
- Tap Delete account data.
- Tap Confirm delete data.
This removes RinkPulse cloud session data for the signed-in account, deletes the app account used for cloud sync, clears local RinkPulse sessions and profile/settings data on that device, and signs you out.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot open the app, email rinkpulsesupport@gmail.com with subject RinkPulse Data Deletion Request. Include the email address you used to sign in to RinkPulse Companion. I may need to reply to verify the request before deleting cloud account data.
What is deleted
- RinkPulse cloud session records tied to your RinkPulse Companion account.
- The RinkPulse app account used for cloud sync.
- Local RinkPulse Companion sessions and profile/settings data on the device when you use the in-app deletion action.
What is not deleted
- Garmin Connect activities, Garmin account history, or Garmin account data.
- Google Play purchase or install records controlled by Google.
- Emails you already sent to support, unless you ask for those to be removed too.
- Records I am required to keep for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute handling.
Timing
In-app deletion is intended to run immediately. Email deletion requests are handled as soon as practical and no later than 30 days after verification unless a legal or security exception applies.
